St Mary's Bay, credit to Rich and the posse for calling it.

Got there and Chris, Tim & Mike were already there ..... Rob, Allesandro & Rich rocked up pretty soon after.

We could see 4 people out at Pirates from St Marys and they seemed to be powered up enough. Wind didn't seem as nuclear as the view, so opted for 5.3m Manic & 3S97 and this was spot on while the wind gradually increased to the point that 4.7m would have been the better choice ..... but I wasn't about to do any of that de & re-rigging stuff in the chilly temps. Decided to sail until I couldn't any more. Took a few breathers on the inside before charging back out to hit the ramps ...... and there were a few tasty ones to be smacked.

As the wind filled in, swinging a bit more onshore, my 'out the back' windline came in closer to shore and even though I promised Rob that I'd go for a table top I failed miserably to even give it a donkey kick .... in my defence, stacked on a 5.3m, and gone pretty high, the only sensible option was a tail first parachute landing .... it must've been the cold, sensible is so not me.

First time I've sailed there, and given the nod from the posse that conditions look good again, it's on the list for a re-visit.

Good to see all the crew again, and if it'd been 4-5 degrees warmer it'd have been awesome .......
